I like the infrared blower but for some reason, my hair feels dryer or with more frizz. I wish I would’ve bought one of the newer ones.

Best Dryer I have ever used
I’ve been on a bit of a hair journey after experiencing significant hair loss, and I’ve been working to repair it with supplements and better tools. As someone who blow-dries my hair daily, I had always used a basic $20 dryer—until I noticed my hair starting to look worse. I first upgraded to a Laifen dryer because it was advertised as faster. While I initially loved the lightweight design and the bottom handle filter (which helped prevent my hair from getting caught), it unfortunately started to smell like melted plastic within about 6 months, which was a dealbreaker for me. I then set out to find a safer, “non-toxic” option without a Prop 65 warning and came across Sutra. While it’s only day one, I’m already impressed. The infrared technology appears legitimate, and it only took me about 10 minutes to fully dry my hair. Even more noticeable was the reduction in tangling and friction—I'd say about 90% less compared to my previous dryers. So far, this dryer feels like a huge upgrade in both performance and hair health. If anything changes over time, I’ll update this review, but right now I’m very happy with my purchase.

It does dry the hair fast and makes it feel silky, however, it’s probably the heaviest blow dryer I’ve ever had. I’m a hairdresser and would love to get this for clients, but it’s just too heavy.

I had an older Sutra blow drier. Not infrared. It broke. I'm almost glad it did because it forced me to buy a new one and it was an infrared version. My hair is colored. My hair seems to dry faster using the infrared drier AND it looks healthier and shinier once it is dry. Worth every penny! Loving it so far!

Best hair dryer I have ever used. My hair is dried and styled quickly with the combo infrared and speed settings. Well designed: easy to change heat and speed settings with one hand. Highly recommend!
I gifted this to my daughter, who has fine hair and which goes from pin straight to frizzy with the high humidity of SW Florida. She absolutely loves the dryer and serum. Her hair looks so smooth and shiney. I never thought that a hair dryer could make such a difference. If is so much healthier than Brazilian straightening etc. This hair dryer and serum makes a huge difference. Will posted pictures when I get some. The dryer is worth every penny.
My hair is dyed and bleached which means that my hair porosity is atrocious. It takes my hair forever to dry with a normal hair dryer and when it does it's very frizzy. With this hair dryer not only does it cut my hair drying time in half, but my hair feels silky smooth afterwards! I was a bit skeptical at first but once I used it I learned why it earned the price tag it has.
